Transfer Unit, or TU for short is a Special Unit that specializes in transferring members from outside agencies into HIA. This SU is the product of a reformation project that aims to maintain the quality of transferring as well as maintaining the best efficiency during transfers. We strive to give potential members the best service and giving our new members the welcoming they deserve. ​

📝 Requirements for a Transfer 📝

  1. The agency must have at least 300 members in their main ID badge.
  2. The person whom is transferring must have been at their agency for five days, and all of their badges on the same account.
  3. The person whom is transferring must be trained staff (Security, Trainer, HR etc.). We do not transfer standard ranks.
  4. Transferees with the rank or equivalent rank of Senior Management or above (SM+) cannot be transferred without the supervision, direction, or approval of a 1iC+ or TUiC.
  5. The person whom is transferring must NOT be under National Punishment, on the Do Not Transfer list or have been fired.
  6. A returning member whom has been fired at HIA is denied reinstatement unless given approval.
  7. Returning members who were removed due to inactivity may return with a maximum of 2 division demotion. Member will receive a 1 division demotion if inactivity without LOA spans lesser than 30 days, whereas for inactivity periods longer than 30 days, member will receive a 2 division demotion.
  8. A member who has been inactive for more than 365+ days will require permission from TUiC/Directorate+ on returning to HIA with suitable demotions applied from previous rank. However, should a member return to HIA over 400+ days ago, reinstatement shall be denied and the member to be offered to restart as Recruit or to buy ranks.
  9. A person whom have worked at HIA previously is allowed to come back to HIA with suitable demotions and is allowed to transfer back as many times as they wish. If he/she returns to HIA, the member will receive a 2 division disloyalty demotion from their last recorded rank at HIA.
  10. HIA If a person is "hacked" or "banned" or "tradelocked", a TUiC will determine a suitable demotion or ALT reinstatement for member. Refer to 2.E §7 within the Code of Conduct.
  11. A person whom have held a Standard Rank (Agent) in HIA will not be dealt with a disloyalty demotion upon transfer. They will continue normally with their current rank at HIA.​
  12. Transferee must not be a member of any HIA's alliances.
*These rules can ONLY be broken by an iC member of the Transfer Unit.

✨​ How does the Transfer Unit Applications work? ✨

📝 Requirements to apply:

  • Your rank must be: [HIA] IA Member I or above!
  • You MUST have been with HIA for at least 1 month.
  • You MUST not take a LOA at anytime during your Trial Period.
  • You MUST not have active disciplinaries during the application process.

In the Transfer Unit, there are three steps in the application process. Below is the TU Application Process:

📌 Step 1: Applying for a probationary spot.
The Transfer Unit application form will only open under the discretion of the TU Overseer / Director, also under their discretion of how long the applications will remain open for. You will be required to fill in the TU Application Form and your responses will be recorded by the iC members of TU. If you are chosen, you will be added into transfer-unit channel, following an alert.

📌 Step 2: Being a Probationary TU Member.
Once picked for a probationary spot, you will be required to attend TU training(s). During the training(s), you will be introduced to the basics of how our Transfer Unit functions, transferring at the TU desk, some general guidelines and rules of transferring. Upon completion of training, you are allowed to watch any TU transfers and ask any full TU members any questions regarding TU while waiting for your assessments. If needed, you can request to redo TU training(s) should you need it.

📌 Step 3: Completing the TU Assessment Track.
Once everyone has received TU training(s), the TU Assessment Track will be released and held for a duration of 3 days. You are required to use all the knowledge you gained as a probationary member to complete the assessment. If you pass the assessment, you will be inaugurated as a full member of the Transfer Unit, however you will be given quota based on how well you did in your exam, which MUST be completed within a month (subject to discretion of TU Director/TU Overseer). If you fail, you will be given a chance to retake all the steps above with more intensive and detailed training, followed by another Assessment. If you fail once again, you will then be asked to re-apply again when the application is open and redo the steps above.

Transfer Unit members are required to complete 2 transfers a month. If you are going on an extended LOA and will be unable to fulfill these requirements, please inform a TUiC beforehand. Failure to complete monthly TU quota would lead to an official first warning, second warning then followed by a removal from the Transfer Unit on the third occurrence.
